FAQs
What insurances do you accept?
As of winter 2025, I am paneled with Premera/BCBS, Kaiser, Cigna, United, Aetna, and many of their subsidies. I am also paneled with both marketplace and Apple Health Coordinated Care, Molina, Wellpoint, and Community Health Plan of Washington.
A kind reminder that clients are responsible to know their insurance coverage status, deductibles, co-pays/co-insurances, etc. to prevent billing issues or disruption in services. I work closely with a professional billing team who will also be happy to help answer any questions or concerns that you may have.

Do you offer sliding scale/pro-bono services?
I offer a limited amount of spaces on my caseload for sliding scale clients. As of 11/25/2025, all of these spaces are filled. Please check back for changes or visit Open Path Collective to find a therapist with current sliding scale openings.

How do you collect payment/how do I pay my balance?
Within the intake paperwork, I include a form to collect debit/credit/HSA card information as well as give authorization for me to charge your card. Before the first session, my billing team will reach out to introduce themselves as well as collect any additional information needed and answer any questions you may have. Anyone with outstanding balances can access the client portal to pay their balance or utilize my business Venmo (@RadiantKrystina).
How long does each therapy session take?
A standard therapy session lasts up to 60 minutes. I do offer 90 minute sessions upon request and for an additional fee.

How frequently do we meet?
Initially, I prefer to meet with clients weekly while we build rapport and connection. Once we have established a solid therapeutic relationship, I am happy to discuss the appropriateness of biweekly sessions.
For some folks and in certain circumstances, having more than one session per week may be warranted. I will use my clinical wisdom in suggesting this and when it is suggested by a client.

Where do you hold sessions and who do you see?
Currently, I offer telehealth services to residents of Washington state over the age of 13 via secure video call.

What do you mean by "holistic" therapy and counseling?
Giving holistic care is a part of my therapeutic perspective. I identify with the medical and philosophical definition in relation to my therapeutic practice. Here are the definitions from Oxford Languages:

Philosophy point of view:
characterized by comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.
Medical point of view:
characterized by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease.

For me, that means asking about sleep hygiene, eating habits, physical movement, social supports, and more that may impact symptoms that individuals experience which lead to seeking therapy or counseling.
